November in a Nut Shell

Been a while...sorry. So, let's see. First, some cute photos I took of Colson in some of her Aggie gear.

A cute post-bath photo...

Thanksgiving... We made the trek to Longview for a few days to celebrate with my family, then headed over to Fort Worth for actual Turkey Day to celebrate with Jon's. Colson did great in the car. Fortunately, she loves her car seat and goes to sleep almost immediately in it. We only had to stop about an hour from home on the way back to feed and change her. It's a 4.5 hour drivefrom Jon's parents' house to ours, so we figured she did pretty good. While in Longview, Colson got to meet my Grandma - her Great Grandma! Ben and his wife Bitia also got to meet her for the first time. We also discovered that Colson loves Christmas lights. Well, she probably loves any twinkly lights...Anyway, my mom hasn't put up a Christmas tree in about 10 years. However, this year she had the tree up just for Colson before we even got there. She loved to just stare at it. This kid is going to be hopelessly spoiled.

We had lots of fun in Fort Worth too. And of course everyone loved Colson. I mean, really, how could they not?

So, funny story. Colson tends to poop when we are feeding her, usually at night. Well, we went to Main Event to celebrate Cousin Kristal's birthday, and true to form Colson pooped while eating her bottle. For some reason though, this one stunk more than usual. So Jon would go stand next to people until they noticed the smell - he thought it was hilarious. Of course, when we burped her we(I) discovered that it was all up her back. Thankfully I was prepared with another outfit. Thanks Becca for your help!

Just some more cute pics of her from last week...

Until next time!
